- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); twelve months or more or related experience or training.
- Ability to read engineering documents. Computer entry skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and assembly procedures. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and to fill out forms and standard reports. Must also have the ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to production, engineering and materials management personnel.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in oral, written, diagram, or mechanical drawing form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to work with and/or train co-workers.
