Mission Statement:
Ø   Responsible for continuous improvement through component analysis, supplier and internal assembly process development, and management of quality improvement processes and staff.

Essential Job Responsibilities:
 
Ø   Review root cause analysis and compile and analyze quality data to identify trends on electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards.
Ø   Assembly process improvement through PFMEAs, control plans, etc…
Ø   Provide technical direction for quality process improvement at printed circuit board assembly suppliers.
Ø   Apply and train on quality tools (e.g. Pareto Diagrams, 8D, brainstorming, Six Sigma techniques, etc.) as needed.
Ø    
Ø   Supervise incoming inspection, Return Material Authorization (RMA) and quality areas.
Ø   Oversee quality improvement processes including Corrective Action Reports (CAR), Quality Management System (QMS), ISO certification, customer performance ratings, Production Part Approval Processes (PPAP) and employee Continuous Small Improvement (CSI) program.
Ø   Communicate quality information to customers, suppliers and all levels of the organization.
Ø   In conjunction with management, establish and communicate quality goals. Provide measurement tools to measure progress towards goals.
Ø   Maintain and control documents and records for the quality management system.   
Ø   Other duties as assigned by the company leadership including the President, VP of Engineering and VP of Operations.   
Technical skills /
Competence required:
Ø   College degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
Ø   Technical ability to determine root cause on electronic assemblies and printed circuit boards.
Ø   Working knowledge of printed circuit board manufacturing processes and standards.
Ø   Understanding of ISO certification, CAR, and PPAP processes.
Ø   Effectively communicate to internal and external customers at all levels.
Ø   Experience in writing policies, procedures and work instructions.
Ø   Experience in deploying Six Sigma methodologies is a plus.     
Relationships:
Ø   Collaborates with company departments, customers and suppliers.
Ø   Take direction as assigned by company leadership including the President, VP of Engineering and VP of Operations.
