We are currently seeking a Software Engineer to join our team of professionals in Hartford, WI.
Job Summary:
The Software Engineer will join the company's programming team. The team is responsible for creating desktop suite of products utilizing C# .Net 4.0. This includes GUI development, accessing databases, internet enabled software, and install packages. Day to day tasks involve development and integration of new features, working on projects to improve the scalability and stability of the technology, and customer support.
Job Responsibilities:
· Working with technical management and development teams to drive concepts into product realization through evaluation of software, performance, hardware interface, and overall system requirements
· Working for a leading edge electronic control system supplier to help create software for the mobile equipment marketplace
Job Requirements
· Bachelors in Computer Science or closely related field
· 5+ years of C# .Net 4.0 development experience
· 1+ years of experience using WPF
· Proficient in creating easy to use graphical user interfaces
· Proficient in interfacing with databases, excel sheets, text files, xml files, etc
· Experience with creating install packages
· Experience with Developing internet enabled software
· Proficient in architecting designs using .NET Framework and version updates
· Excellent problem solving and multitasking skills, with a logical and pragmatic attitude
· Ability to work on and complete multiple projects in a timely fashion
· Proficient in automated building, testing, documentation and profiling software tools.
Other desirable skills include:
· Experience developing using Model-View-View Model (MVVM) pattern
· Experience using the Prism Library
· Experience with Software Configuration Management
· Familiar with DFMEA
· Experience with Agile development
· Experience with a formal design process (CMMI)
