Load (Horse Power) Controls

Also known as an anti-stall control, the main application of the HED Digital Load Control is to provide protection for the engine, and to insure the vehicle operates at peak efficiency. The controller prevents the hydraulic function(s) from demanding too much power and thereby stalling the engine.

Function
The Load Control continuously monitors the engine RPM and adjusts hydraulic function(s), by driving either a flow control valve or a dump valve. When the engine’s RPM drops below a set point, the Load Control decreases the hydraulic function, thus lightening the load on the engine.

All of the Load Control’s parameters can be adjusted via a serial link to a computer using the HED Load Link© software.
